A simple hub for broadcast work, demos and the projects I’m building now.
Chris Dabbs is a UK broadcast journalist, newsreader and voice specialist working across Times Radio, BBC Local Radio and ITV News. He also co-founded The Podcast Studio, helping organisations turn ideas into clear, purposeful audio that builds authority and strengthens audience trust.
Chris brings more than two decades of experience in live news, scriptwriting, interviewing and on-air delivery, alongside practical production skills across audio, video and remote recording. He is a lecturer in broadcast and digital journalism at the University of Brighton and is researching a PhD in Audio Journalism, focused on how hyperlocal audio and video can support sustainable local publishing while protecting editorial independence.
Current projects include Podcasts for Schools and AutoBrief, an automated briefing workflow that pairs trusted human voices with efficient production.
This site is a simple hub to point you to the work that matters. If you need a reliable broadcast voice, a sharp editorial brain, or support planning and producing audio that sounds professional and serves a clear goal, you are in the right place.
